Weekend iPhone Photo Dump

{Don’t forget to enter the UPrinting giveaway!  Low entries, and the prize is worth at least $50.}

Finally, a weekend that didn’t require massive amounts of driving!  It was so nice to just spend time at home.  Friday evening, the boys’ school had their annual Spring Fling.  There were games, prizes, a cake walk, magic show, raffle prizes, and dozens of silent auction items including baskets made by contributions from each class that were auctioned off.  Last year we ended up winning an arts and crafts basket that we still use every week, as well as a $100 gift certificate to Buck Jones Nursery which we used a couple of weeks ago to get some flagstone for a hardscaping project in our side yard.  It’s a fun time and most importantly, it wears the kids slap out.  We all slept until around 8 Saturday morning, which is unheard of in our house.  Saturday was really low-key.  The boys and I stayed home and played all day while Zac worked an event in downtown Atlanta, and then I made some chicken tacos for dinner.  Sunday was spent doing things around the house including LAUNDERING ALL THE THINGS, vacuuming the house, putting away toys and folded clothes, and mowing the lawn.  We grilled steaks for dinner and I made garlic parmesan mashed red potatoes, which were delicious if I do say so myself.

So that was our weekend.  And now for the photos!

This is my ‘so happy it’s the weekend!’ face.

Action shot at the school’s Spring Fling.

He actually hit it a couple of times.

My boys playing bingo.

Showing off his froggy tattoo.

Cakewalk.  He won!

I love babywearing dads.  SWOON.

A high five for hitting the purple balloon.

Playing with his prize.  A very loud hand clapper.

Plinko.  He won three prizes!

And a lazy Saturday after the Spring Fling excitement.

Time-out on Sunday for saying “whatever” to Daddy.

Happy boy waking up from a nap.

I’m not sure why but he makes this face all the time now.

My contribution to dinner.

Garlic parmesan mashed potatoes.  SO delicious.

He loves to sit on the floor between my feet.

Watching a little TV.  We turned the cable off so I let him watch some Nick Jr. Sunday afternoon.
